Original Title:

Teaching Mrs. Tingle

Tyrannical teacher Mrs. Tingle (Helen Mirren) is hell-bent on causing misery.

When Leanne (Katie Holmes), an A-grade student with a messy home life, is falsely accused of cheating, she, her best friend and the useless chap who caused all the trouble end up imprisoning the formidable lady in her own home.

What follows is a long, drawn-out story in which humourless comedy sits uncomfortably alongside cheap psycho-babble, resulting in a sorry mess. Holmes could do better, Mirren should be ashamed.
