Original Title:

River Of No Return

No, not the highly thought out Baywatch: The River Of No Return TV movie, but a Poorly regarded but endearing Western at least gave Marilyn Monroe one of her few likely leading men in hunky Bob Mitchum.

The buxon blonde beauty plays the floozy chanteuse adrift in Injun country with reluctant rescuer Mitchum and his Cute Child. Swell river rafting thrills and Monroe’s sultry version of the theme song are plusses to this otherwise disappointing forray into the Wild West.

However the beautiful backdrop of the Canadian rockies where this was filmed provide a sexy backdrop for the two lead characters which display a sizzling chemistry. Unfortunately they're both let down by the script.

Some decent performances, but with this story they didn't have much of a chance
