Mission To Lars

The most common problem with dreaming of meeting Metallica’s Lars Ulrich is the fact he’s a superstar. But for Tom, everyone including Lars wishes to make that dream come true. It’s Fragile X syndrome (“autism with bells on”) that’s the key obstacle. Tom’s sister and brother make it their mission to get him to America in this moving doc, but even they are unprepared for the myriad frustrations caused by his anxiety-breeding condition. This is not about where the Spicers end up, but how they get there, and you endure every stressful, exhausting and spectacularly tender moment of that voyage with them.

The film that reduced Lemmy to tears will have a similar affect on you. Just lovely.
