Original Title:

Where Do We Go Now?

Canny Middle Eastern women thwart boorish men to diffuse Christian-Muslim tensions in Labaki’s likable village-set comedy. It is broad (there’s knockabout comedy with Ukranian strippers and hashcakes) but its mixture of whimsy, musical numbers and good heart wins out.

A likeable comedy with heart and brains.
