This exercise in rip-offery would probably seem less contemptible if it did not set itself up as a sequel to Hitchcocks 1963 classic and yoke in poor old Tippi Hedren (not reprising her earlier role) for a pointless cameo. Brad Johnson and Chelsea Field spend the summer on an offshore island, and the gulls gather for a meaningless assault on humanity. With an Alan Smithee directors credit on it, this pecks away at its thin storyline, shedding feathers throughout.
