Unable to stomach the fact that America isn’t the best at something, LA hip-hop mogul Dante Graham (Laz Alonso) assembles a B-boy dream team to compete in an international dance crew competition and put the USA back on top whereit belongs, overturning 15 years of humiliating defeats. Given that it’s about dancing — of which there is far too little — the least forgivable thing about director Benson Lee’s follow-up to 2008’s Planet B-Boy is not its relentless onslaught of threadbare clichés, stock characters and cornball melodrama, but that it is so utterly, mind-numbingly dull. Lost’s Josh Holloway deserves far better.
