American college comedy from the writers of The Hangover. The night before an interview, medical student Jeff Chang (Justin Chon) is persuaded to go out for a beer with pals Miller (Miles Teller) and Casey (Skylar Astin). You guessed it — one beer turns into dozens and soon they’re cavorting around campus crashing parties and angering the local cops and jocks. It’s mildly amusing in parts, but the best scenes are hugely derivative and racial stereotypes abound to an uncomfortable degree. Astin is likable, but Teller’s hard to enjoy as slacker skirt-chaser Miller. Steve Stifler he is not.
