Super-producer Richard Zanuck has signed up as producer on the Tim Burton directed Planet of the Apes remake. Zanuck, with an impressive string of hits behind him, strikes Empire Online as a very un-Burton-esque partner, but then 'Planets' promises to be an unusual remake.
