Empire Online is officially in shock. While gaily going about our work this fine Friday morning, news so sinister filtered through to Empire Towers to shock even our wizened, cynical souls and make us cry yet again, "Is there no limit to the depths Hollywood can sink?" The film that kick-started independent films, epitomised 60s counterculture and of course, mystified us with that enigmatic phrase, "we blew it," is going to get a 21st-century makeover whether it likes it or not. The legendary Easy Rider is going to get a sequel. And it gets worse. Not only is this crime against humanity appallingly titled Easy Rider A.D.
