David Krumholtz – who last graced the screen alongside Mal Reynolds and the crew of Serenity as techno-geek Mr Universe – is making a very different kind of film this summer.

No, it’s not geek porn; it’s Woody Allen’s next film. The “Untitled Paris Summer Project” (ooh, catchy!) already has Michelle Williams in its clutches and plans to kick off shooting in a couple of months in the French capital. Let’s hope the riots are finished by then.

If you didn’t catch Krumholtz in Serenity (and why didn’t more of you go and see it? Eh? EH?), he has a regular gig on US TV drama Numbers and appeared in Ray and Harold & Kumar Get The Munchies. He’ll next crop up in Bobby, Emilio Estevez’ film about the assassination of Robert Kennedy.
