While Woody Allen fans have always claimed that the writer/actor/director is a consummate genius, perhaps they should have focused their attentions elsewhere in the family. Woody's eleven year old son is attending a clever kids school in the States and is a regular boffin, according to a report in the New York Daily News. Seamus, 11, who was christened Satchel when adopted by Woody and ex-wife Mia Farrow, has been dazzling teachers with his intellect, apparently being happy to explain the theory of black holes at the tender age of 5. Last year his reading material consisted not of the usual Harry Potter fare, but the collected works of Camus and Kafka. Unfortunately, Seamus' achievements are a mystery to Allen whose estrangement from Mia and their children means he rarely sees Seamus. 'It's news to me.' said the director when told about his son's academic prowess.
