Woody Harrelson Is Rude And Truthful In The Wilson Trailer

Woody Harrelson in Wilson

UK audiences will get their first look at Skeleton Twins director Craig Johnson's new film, the Daniel Clowes adaptation Wilson, when it arrives this year as part of the London arm of the Sundance Film Festival. But if you wanted to get a glimpse, the trailer for the movie starring Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern is online.

Harrelson stars as the title character, an opinionated loner (well, it is Clowes, after all) who loves his dog but finds people harder to get along with. He tries though, often haranguing total strangers on a variety of subjects. But when his father dies, leaving him completely starved of human relationships, he sets out to find his junkie ex-wife Pippi (Dern), learns he has a teenage daughter he never knew about. Of course, suddenly turning up in Claire's (Isabella Amara) worldview isn't exactly what the teenager wants, but somehow they try for a last haphazard stab at family life.

The likes of Judy Greer, Brett Gelman and Mary Lynn Rajskub are also in the cast, and the film will be out on 9 June.
