Wolfman Bites Back

Marv Wolfman, creator of Blade, has sued Warner Bros., Time Warner and Marvel Entertainment for $35 million, on the eve of the movie's release. Wolfman is claiming ownership of the character despite the fact that comic-book publishers have traditionally claimed all rights to their characters. Wolfman claims that when he created the Blade in 1972, he was an independent contractor for Marvel, not an employee.
