Michael Winterbottom’s doing a Bubble.
The prolific director’s new film The Road To Guantanamo will be released simultaneously in cinemas, on DVD, on Channel 4 and on the ‘net on 9 March. It follows Steven Soderberh's release of Bubble on DVD the same week it arrived in US cinemas.
Originally produced for C4’s drama department, Road is a part-drama, part-documentary that focuses on the Tipton Three, a trio of British Muslims held in the American prison facility Guantanamo Bay for two years before being released without charge.
