William H Macy has a pretty good life, all things considered. He’s happily married to Desperate housewife Felicity Huffman, counts the likes of David Mamet and the Coen brothers as friends and is a respected thesp.
And now he’s getting the chance to drive a motorcycle around – as he’s joining cycle comedy Wild Hogs.
Sadly, it does mean spending time on set with Martin Lawrence and Tim Allen, but those are the risks you take. The comedy sees Allen, Lawrence and John Travolta as middle-aged biker wannabes caught up with a real Hells Angels gang. No word on who Macy’s playing yet, but we’re hoping for a tough-as-nails hog man with a heart of gold and a moustache of purest grease.
Van Wilder director Walt Becker starts shooting next month in New Mexico.
