Wiig And Kunis Join Mike Judge's Extract

Unless you are American, you may not know the name Kristen Wiig. But know this: she is very, very funny. The Saturday Night Live actress made a brief appearance in Knocked Up (as Katherine Heigl's embittered work colleague) and also featured in Walk Hard and Semi Pro. She's now signed up to star opposite Jason Bateman in Mike Judge's next comedy, according to EW.

Judge, who makes good comedies like Office Space and Idiocracy that are seen by approximately four people, is prepping Extract, which will star Jason Bateman as a flower-extract plant owner on a run of bad luck. Wiig is in negotiations to play his cheating wife. Mila Kunis (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is also said to be in talks to play a plant employee.

Those are the beginnings of a very solid comedy cast. None of them are exactly huge names, but all have their fans (we love Jason Bateman so much that we even watched Fast Track, and convinced ourselves it must be good because it also stars the amazing Zach Braff) and are gifted comedy actors. Could this finally be the Mike Judge film that finds a cinema audience? Because we're not sure he can take another undeserved flop.
