Some people just can’t get enough Asian food. Take the Weinstein Brothers (who are fond of a meal or two). Not content with gobbling up the world rights – UK and Asia aside - to Ong Bak 2, they’ve gone and plucked the rights to fellow action-thriller Dragon Tiger Gate.

It’s an adaptation of Hong Kong comic The Gate Of Dragon And Tiger, and sees a three young Chinese martial arts masters (Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse and Shawn Yue) trying to help the helpless fight injustice.

Wilson Yip called the shots, and you can expect it to punch its way into cinemas late this year or early 2007.
