Waking Madison Gets A Cast

Psychological thriller, Waking Madison, starts shooting today in New Orleans – and has just finished assembling a nifty little cast.

Writer/director Katherine Brooks had already cast Elisabeth Shue (remember her?) and Disturbia’s Sarah Roemer in the movie, in which Roemer plays Madison, a young mentally ill woman who shuts herself off in her apartment for 30 days, with no food, telephone or outside stimuli.

But to that decent little duo, Brooks has added Frances Conroy, Madison’s religious zealot mother; Will Patton, as her emotionally absent father; and Taryn Manning as a sociopathic fellow patient.

Not a bad little indie movie cast, then. We’ll keep an eye on this one.
