Michael Bay has added two new names to his Transformers cast as he prepares to start shooting this month.
Jon Voight – who worked with Bay on Pearl Harbour, has been confirmed as playing the Secretary Of State alongside the already-cast Shia LaBeouf (our plucky hero) and Travis Van Winkle.
Also stepping aboard to help the mighty Autobots battle the deadly Decepticons is Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen’s Megan Fox, who will be the spunky lady sidekick and love interest for LaBeouf’s Spike Witwicky.
Other names that have cropped up – but haven’t yet been given the cold stamp of truth – include Bernie Mac, Josh Duhamel and Coen favourite John Turturro.
The battle for robo-superiority invades cinemas next July.
