Tommy Reid is adding a little muscle to his bowling comedy 7-10 Split.

Vinnie Jones and The Sopranos’ Vincent Pastore have signed up for the pin-pic, which sees a down-on-his-luck actor (Ross Patterson) exploit his amazing bowling skills for fame and fortune, but at the expense of his personal life. Reid’s brother Tara is also starring, alongside professional ball-throwers Tommy Jones and Wes Malott.

If you’re that much of a Vinnie fan, you’ll be able to see him on screen shortly in X-Men 3. Or, you could always read the other Vinnie Jones news story appearing today…

Because Vin will also be putting his hefty build to good use in The Condemned, being produced by World Wrestling Entertainment as a star vehicle for grappling god Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Austin will play a man on death row in a corrupt Central American jail. He’s “bought” by a wealthy TV producer looking for the next big thing in reality telly. Austin’s character must fight to the death with nine other condemned men. Hhmm… Anyone else thinking of Arnie’s The Running Man?

With a script re-written by Scott Wiper (who’s also directing), the film starts shooting in May in Australia.
