With Kristen Bell and Leslie Jones already leading the cast for scam comedy Queenpins, the ensemble is growing by two. Vince Vaughn and Paul Walter Hauser are now aboard.
Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly are writing and directing the movie, which is inspired by the true story of the largest coupon counterfeit in the history of the US. When two suburban housewives stumble upon a way to make a little money with fake coupons, they soon find themselves in over their heads as their scheme grows to a $40M criminal venture.
The husband-and-wife team are aiming to shoot the movie in Los Angeles later this year, and the rights are already out on sale to distributors.
