A View Of The Island

There's much to recommend Michael Bay's The Island. For starters, it features acting talent like Ewan McGregor, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Buscemi and Michael Clarke Duncan, which is never a bad thing. The film's an interesting little tale as well, with McGregor starring as the clunkily-named Lincoln Six-Echo, an inhabitant of a utopic future society. The film would be monumentally dull if the residents of said paradise did nothing all day buy sip lemonade from crystal glasses and lounge around marvelling at how perfect their lives are, so Lincoln soon discovers that he is actually part of a clone farm. He and his fellow replicas are simply there to wait around until their 'original' versions need spare parts. Naturally less than pleased, he teams up with Johansson's Jordan Two-Delta and makes a desperate bid for freedom. Like we said, it's certainly a promising concept and, as luck would have it, the first image from the film has been released today over on Coming Soon. And what is going on in said picture? Well, er... we're glad you asked. McGregor and Johansson are in it, that's for sure. And they do look concerned about something. As for what, well it could be a dinosaur
