A new comedy

Twentieth Century Fox has bought itself a new comedy pitch. But you’d think it had just announced a new Star Wars film considering the secrecy with which it’s treating the plot.

Once again playing the game that stipulates Comedies Are So Important We Can’t Even Tell Our Families What They’re Actually About, the studio is keeping almost completely schtum on a new high concept laugh-fest called Untitled Vegas Comedy. All writer Dana Fox (no relation) would tell Variety is that it’s based on the idea that “what stays in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas – sometimes it follows you home.”

More to come, we're sure.
