Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale The Little Mermaid, **Ponyo **tells the sea-bound tale of a goldfish princess (Noah Cyrus) who wants to be human and gets her wish, befriending a 5 year-old boy (Frankie Jonas) on the journey.
Miyazaki's stellar voicecast for the American version includes Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Liam Neeson and Lily Tomlin.
