Want to get weird? Cast your mind back a few years and it didn't get much weirder than 2016's Swiss Army Man. That film, in which Paul Dano befriended the flatulent corpse of Daniel Radcliffe, was directed by The Daniels, Scheinert and Kwan. Fast forward to today, and Scheinert has gone solo for another off-the-wall black comedy, The Death Of Dick Long. Check out the new trailer below.

Scheinert himself plays the unfortunate Dick, abandoned by his idiot buddies Zeke (Michael Abbott Jr.) and Earl (Andre Hyland) en-route to hospital in smalltown Alabama following an accident . Thanks to Zeke and Earl's blundering, the state of the dead Dick leads the local community to fear that a marauding band of madmen is on the loose. Meanwhile Dick’s wife (Jess Weixler) starts getting suspicious, while local law women Janelle Cochrane and Sarah Baker fail to achieve much with the clear evidence.

The Death Of Dick Long made its debut at Sundance earlier this year, and is released in US cinemas on 24 September. There are no dates for its arrival in the UK so far.
