Now that his US TV show Night Stalker has been cancelled, Stuart Townsend has time to get back to movies.
He’s joined the cast of romantic comedy Chaos Theory, which already stars Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer.
The film focuses on a compulsive organiser (Reynolds) who decides to try and break free from his planning obsessions and ends up falling for Mortimer’s character. Townsend will play Reynolds’ best friend, who also falls in love with for Mortimer.
The script’s penned by Daniel Taplitz and Marco Siega will direct the film in January in Vancouver.
