A bizarre survey by mortgage bank Alliance & Leicester has placed Tom Cruise and Catherine Zeta Jones at the top of customers' wish list for the ideal cleaner. 1,014 A&L customers took part in the poll, which asked which Hollywood star they'd most like to have do their housework.
Tom Cruise was first choice in the 'fantasy male cleaner' department with Bond star Pierce Brosnan hot on his heels; while Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta Jones was voted the star that those surveyed would most like to have cloned to become their char lady.
