Grace Kelly drama Grace Of Monaco already features Nicole Kidman as the Princess herself. But director Olivier Dahan has now added in two actors for the other lead roles, with Tim Roth and Frank Langella signing on.

The film, written by Arash Amel, finds Kelly – already ensconced as the wife of Prince Rainier III (Roth) – called in to help save the nation from an escalating problem about its tax status, as then-president Charles de Gaulle handed her hubby a six-month deadline to reform the place’s financial laws. Yes, it doesn’t quite sound like a pulse-pounding thriller set up, but the interplay drama between Kelly and her husband should make for a good story.

Langella is on to play Father Tucker, the priest who initially set the couple up and who proves to be a close friend, offering welcome advice when needed. They’ll also be working with Paz Vega, who’ll play opera singer Maria Callas, one of Kelly’s loyal confidantes.

Dahan is gearing up to begin shooting this autumn in France.

Roth will next crop up in Arbitrage and Broken, while Langella’s next release is comedy drama Robot & Frank.
