The dream team just gets dreamier. As well as Steven Spielberg in the director's chair, a HG Wells-based David Koepp script and some guy called Tom Cruise in the lead role, we now have Tim Robbins and Miranda Otto in talks to join up as well. All in all, that's dreamier than a Salvador Dali painting being held aloft by a teen heartthrob during a dream sequence. Robbins is expected to take the role of Professor Ogilvy, the astronomer who sees the whole thing coming. Anyone who has seen his recent work with bad hair and a pipe in Anchorman will agree that he should do well as a science geek. At the more glamorous side of the spectrum, The Lord of the Rings' Miranda Otto will play the Cruiser's wife and (presumably) mother of moppet Dakota Fanning. Frankly, it's all pretty encouraging
