Tilda Swinton starring in a musical about the end of humanity's time on Earth? Sure, we can see that. And she's not the only one, as George MacKay and Stephen Graham are also in the cast for The End.

The Art Of Killing's Joshua Oppenheimer is behind the film, which, according to the (very) brief description circulating, will focus on the last family of humans on Earth. Does this mean everyone else has died? Has scarpered off to another planet? We'll find out from the core cast, who will be belting out Golden Age musical tunes.

Oppenheimer should have the cameras rolling and the songs flowing next year, though there's no word on a release date yet. Swinton has Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch next to arrive (22 October), while MacKay will be seen in Wolf and Graham has Venom: Let There Be Carnage due in the UK on 15 October.
