Uma Thurman has found herself a new hubbie. On screen, at least.
She’ll star in rom-com The Accidental Husband for the Yari Film Group.
The film follows a psychologist who gets engaged but then discovers that she’s already married. She tracks down this seemingly unknown husband but then – wouldn’t ya just know it? – she realises she might have feelings for estranged spouse and is caught between the two men. Hmmm - is anyone else having Sweet Home Alabama flashbacks, or is that just us?
With four writers having written the script, we’re sure this means it’ll be four times as split-your-sides funny. Well, maybe. The producers want Griffin Dunne to direct, and if he agrees, the plan is to start shooting in New York later this year.
