There must be a new rule going around Hollywood that every animated film must now feature the voice of either Steve Buscemi or John Cleese.

The Weinstein Company’s Igor has gone for the double by casting both, and adding Christian Slater for the mix. In truth, all three of them are Igor veterans, having given their tonsil talents to the short film on which the feature will be based.

The plot sees a mad scientist’s hunchbacked assistant (Slater) trying to win the Evil Science Fair, with help from a sarcastic talking lab rabbit (Buscemi) and while trying to avoid his master’s wrath (Cleese).
