The podcasts that make up the Set To Screen Series that follows the production of Baz Luhrmann's Australia have so far been excellent. And the new one, which focuses on production design and can be found here, maintains the level of quality.
Though they're intended as educational tools for young filmmakers, these are well worth watching for anyone anticipating the film, or anyone who just likes to look at pretty pictures. Every image shown of this film, an epic love story starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, is gorgeous. Luhrmann also makes an enthusiastic guide – we particularly like the dedication to his craft shown by his willingness to submerge himself in a river in order to get the best shot. Now that's commitment.
