It may have opened to a slightly lower figure than the 2012 original, but $30 million was more than enough to propel Think Like A Man Too to box office success in the US this weekend, where it scraped past **22 Jump Street **to nab the top spot. The film, which reunites the cast led by rising star Kevin Hart, easily saw off the only other new competition this weekend, from Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys.

It’s just the latest Stateside success for Hart, who is on a roll thanks to the likes of this ensemble comedy and Ride Along, a hit earlier in the year. But 2014 is so far shaping up to be the year when no film repeats at the top, at least not until the big behemoths like Transformers: Age Of Extinction arrive. Still, 22 Jump Street continued to pack in the punters, dropping just 49% for a $29 million second weekend that could, theoretically, see it take back the top position once the final official totals are tallied. The cop comedy, which cost $50 million, is now past $111.4 million in the States and $149.6 million worldwide.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 fell to third, taking home $25.3 million, which probably still won’t please DreamWorks Animation’s picky shareholders since it hints that the sequel may not have the great legs of its predecessor. Still, it was enough to trounce Jersey Boys, which attracted a much older audience for a slow start and $13.5 million in fourth. The Four Seasons musical movie may do better during the week, as that older-skewing crowd shows up on work nights while younger audiences scramble for opening day, but it’s not the best launch for Clint’s latest. Maleficent, meanwhile, slipped to fifth with $13 million.

Edge Of Tomorrow was pushed to sixth for $10.3 million, while weepie The Fault In Our Stars fell a couple of places to seventh and $8.6 million, for a running total just a hair under $100m in the US.

At eighth we find **X-Men: Days Of Future Past **earning $6.2 million, with Chef holding strong at ninth for yet another week and $1.84 million in the bank and Godzilla dropping to 10th with $1.82 million.
