They may not have kept the romantic flames fanned in real life, but Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas certainly bring the heat in the new, full trailer for Adrian Lyne's erotic thriller Deep Water. Even if, as the footage shows, things are not quite as they appear...
Based on a Patricia Highsmith novel, Deep Water sees Affleck and de Armas play wealthy New Orleans couple Vic and Melinda Van Allen. Their crumbling marriage brings on mistrust and mutual mind games, which get all the more intense when the people that Melinda engages in extramarital affairs with start going missing.
Less Gone Girl, then, more Gone Guys as Affleck digs into what his wife is up to and learns some hard truths about their troubled partnership.
Director Lyne has a track record with this sort of movie, so we're intrigued to see what he brings to this one.
Deep Water will be available to watch in the UK on Prime Video from 18th March, while Stateside audiences will see it via Hulu.
