Co-writer/director Matt Reeves has been building a fantastic cast for his entry in the the world of DC films with The Batman. The latest addition joining Robert Pattinson is Peter Sarsgaard, as announced by Reeves on Twitter.

As of right now, we don't know who Sarsgaard will be playing – Reeves offered no real hint – but suspicion has already begun to build that he'll be Harvey Dent, AKA Two Face.

Confirmed so far are Pattinson in the title role, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred and John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone. There's also newcomer Jayme Lawson in an unknown role.

Reeves will start shooting soon in the UK for a June 2021 release date.
