Days away from the upcoming DC FanDome event, filmmaker Matt Reeves is already teasing bits from his upcoming take on the Caped Crusader. While the online fan convention will likely see the first official footage from The Batman emerge, we’ve already been given our first look at the official logo for the movie via Twitter – take a look below.

Reeves, who directed War For and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, as well as Cloverfield, is presenting a new take on Bruce Wayne for the DC movies, with Robert Pattinson under the cowl. Little is known about what exactly his take on hte material will involve, although early rumours suggest it may take influence from The Long Halloween comic – a sort of ‘Year Two’, which finds a pretty-young Batman doing some hard detective work to solve a series of holiday-themed murders, while wrangling with the Falcone crime family. What we do know is that Zoë Kravitz is on board as Catwoman, Colin Farrell is playing The Penguin, and Paul Dano is down as The Riddler – with Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon.

As well as the logo, Reeves unveiled a pretty great piece of Jim Lee artwork, giving a greater look at what Pattinson’s Batman will end up looking like (in pencil form, at least).
