Paramount didn't just announce the title of the next Mission: Impossible movie at its CinemaCon event in Las Vegas on Thursday morning. It also revealed that the A Quiet Place spin-off is a prequel called A Quiet Place: Day One.

Pig director Michael Sarnoski is attached to make the new movie, which will follow an entirely different family from Emily Blunt's surviving Abbott brood.

And, a little like the action-packed opening for A Quiet Place Part II, which flashed back to the first day the alien creatures landed on Earth and started to attack people, it'll be chronicle more of that chaotic initial encounter, presumably in another location on Earth.

No other details about the story were revealed, though we do know the film is scheduled to arrive in September 2023.

John Krasinski, meanwhile is still quietly developing the third main Quiet Place movie, and is looking to have that one in cinemas for 2025.
