Unfriended: Dark Web

In 2015, Unfriended used the medium of web cams to tell the story of teens haunted by a supernatural presence. The follow-up, subtitled Dark Web, appears to use the same idea, but offers a more human danger. Check out the latest trailer.

Dark Web sees another group having trouble when one of their own plucks a laptop out of lost and found and decides to make it their own. As you can probably figure out from that, this is a bad idea, as the machine has a store of secret files with links to the depths of the dark web.

Soon, the characters are in real trouble as a mysterious online presence is haunting their every move... And some start dying.

With Stephen Susco writing and directing, the cast includes Colin Woodell, Stephanie Nogueras, Betty Gabriel, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Andrew Lees and Connor del Rio. Unfriended: Dark Web arrives in UK cinemas on 10 August.
