Tea Leoni is going from Fun With Dick And Jane to fun with... false dicks?
She has signed to star in Funlady, the true story of an Arkansas single mother who turned to selling sex toys to make ends meet.
Leoni’s husband – otherwise known as David Duchovny – is making his producing debut on the film, which will be written by Susan Brightbill. There’s no director or cast attached yet.
It’s the tale of Linda Brewer, a woman who found herself in need of a job after her divorce. Rather than work the checkouts at Wal-Mart, she found new inspiration hawking sex toys in x-rated Tupperware parties around the American Bible belt. Can’t wait to see the tie-in promotions for this one.
