With the double whammy of Grindhouse set for release in Spring next year, Quentin Tarantino looks set to momentarily leave the director's chair for an acting role in prolific cult director Takashi Miike's forthcoming **Sukiyaki Western: Django. **

Set in 12th-century Japan, this self-styled spaghetti western will feature an all English-speaking cast, which includes Memoirs Of A Geisha's Kaori Momoi. In 2005, helmer Miike took a brief cameo in Hostel - executive produced by Tarantino. Q.T is poised to return the favour.

The movie is currently filming in Japan.
