Tara Reid Still Has A Career, Honestly

Human disaster zone Tara Reid has signed for a new film called Honestly, to be directed by her brother Tommy. The wardrobe-malfunction prone star, last seen in, er… well, last watched in Van Wilder and Scrubs, will play a “hard-boiled private eye” in this indie romantic comedy.

The story has her as Monica Hennessey, whose gumshoe business involves working as a temptress to test the fidelity of her client’s husbands. But – wouldn’t you just know it? – she falls for her latest mark, a man who couldn’t possibly be as nice as he seems (or could he?!). Vinnie Jones and former American football star Eddie George (Steven Seagal’s Into The Sun) will also be appearing, although their roles haven’t yet been confirmed.

The script was written by Tom Vaughan, who previously wrote Wesley Snipes actioner Unstoppable (yeah, we missed that one too). Director Tommy Reid previously directed his sister in upcoming bowling comedy **7-10 **Split, which must have been a pretty happy set, since it also starred Jones and George as well.

Yes, it’s a slow news day. Still, best of luck to Reid and her team – let’s hope she cuts back on the tabloid appearances and brings her natural talent for comedy to the screen instead.
