A24 is still taking wild swings — and to Oscar-winning effect with Everything Everywhere All At Once and The Whale. And it's also still firmly in the horror field, as evidenced by the trailer for Talk To Me.
Boasting a concept from Daley Pearson (yes, Daryl from the Thor shorts, who also happens to be an executive producer of family favourite series Bluey in case you need to know the man has range), the new film comes Danny and Michael Philippou.
Starring Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Zoe Terakes and Chris Alosi, the festival hit follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces. Kids today, eh?
The film will be in UK and US cinemas on 28 July.
