That’s the plot of Rick Yancey’s book The Extraordinary Adventures Of Alfred Kropp, which is being produced by Akiva Goldsman.
The script will be written by David Ireson, and focuses on an awkward 15-year-old who is swept into an Arthurian adventure when his uncle convinces him to half-inch the ancient sword.
