For his next act, Alan Cumming will pull double duty on Suffering Man’s Charity.

He’ll direct and star in the tale of a man who accidentally kills an author (David Boreanaz). When Cumming’s character finds Boreanaz’ manuscript, he decides to claim it as his own, to massive success. But the author returns from the dead to take revenge.

Anne Heche is playing a publisher and Carrie Fisher will also appear, playing a reporter.
