Dodgeball director Rawson Thurber’s next film – an ambitious, previously announced adaptation of Michael Chabon’s The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh – is gathering extra cast members.

Joining Peter Sarsgaard is Jon Foster (Stay Alive), who will play our nerdy hero, Art Bechstein. He meets the sexy and intriguing Arthur Lecomte, who introduces him to Jane (Sienna Miller), no slouch in the looks department herself. She’s dating legendary local Cleveland (Sarsgaard). Meanwhile, Art also encounters the lovely and mysterious Phlox, to be played by Mena Suvari.

Art’s story is one of growing up, heartache and struggles with sexuality as his friends help and hinder him through a long summer. Thurber starts shooting in Philadelphia in September.
