Proof, if proof were needed, that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is cool whatever era he's in, as he pulls off the brown leather and patterned shirt combo below. He's helped by Nicholas Hoult's Beast in a double-cord get-up and James McAvoy's Professor X letting it all hang low with his new not-all-that-luscious locks. In other words, here's a new** X-Men: Days Of Future Past** still, and it's super '70s.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past finds our heroes struggling to change a dark alternate universe where mutants are captured or killed by Bolivar Trask's (Peter Dinklage) giant robot Sentinels. Professor X and Magneto find a way to send Hugh Jackman’s Logan back in time - which explains how Wolvie is with young Hank McCoy and the now wheelchair-bound-but-not-bald Charles Xavier here - while he tracks down and tries to get the younger versions of the X-Men (and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants) to help change the future.

This weekend past also saw Bryan Singer tweet a few more of his eyebrow-raising TwitPics, one of which saw Michael Fassbender in a different piece of Magneto headgear and this intriguing number, which he released to his followers accompanied with the word 'Artifacts'.

Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Evan Peters, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing, Shawn Ashmore, Omar Sy, and Lucas Till also feature in Bryan Singer’s latest X-film, which is out here on May 22 next year.
