Summer Loving

A solstice comedy

First-time director Alexander Hahn has just kicked off work on his film Midsummer Madness.

Co-written by Hahn and former Carry On scribe Norman Hudis, the film is a comedy about Latvia’s raunchy summer solstice celebrations on the shortest night of the year. Solstice must be the new hot theme today – first a horror, now a comedy.

Amelie’s Dominique Pinon will star alongside an eclectic euro-cast that includes Maria de Medeiros and Austrian TV favourite (it says here) Tobias Moretti.
