Like its DC brethren Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad is getting the extended edition treatment. As well as an extra 13 minutes of footage added to the main feature, there’s also a clutch of extra features and video tidbits – including this exclusive little Joker featurette we’ve managed to get our hands on. Take a look here.

The featurette dips a little into the process of creating Jared Leto’s Joker. “I kind of had to say goodbye to Jared,” chuckles director David Ayer. “There was a point where he went away and he was replaced, slowly but surely, by the Joker.”

Leto’s antics on set have been well reported – read our interview with him here, in which he described the process as “painful – like giving birth out of my prick-hole”. You old charmer, Jared!

DC’s bad guy assemblage Suicide Squad: The Extended Cut is out on Digital Download from 28 November 28 and 4K, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray from 5 December.
