The whole gang’s back for Fantastic Four 2 – well, almost. Director Tim Story and screenwriter Mark Frost have confirmed that they’ll star in the Fantastic sequel, which in the true tradition of recent comic book blockbusters already has a release date: July 4, 2007.
Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans, Jessica Alba and Michael Chiklis will all be returning, since they signed deals that included a sequel. But don’t expect Julian McMahon as Doom – his deal meant he only had to make the original FF and one other film for Fox. He’s already signed on to the thriller Premonition, with Sandra Bullock. That’s not to say they won’t recast old Victor, though.
